Recently, we were called to a home in the Park Willow subdivison of Clarendon Hills where the homeowner was planning a family gathering and requested a carpet cleaning in the dining and living room. The homeowner had cleaned her own carpet with a rental machine from a local hardware store about a year before.

The first thing we did was treat the carpet with a de-foamer to extract the residue that had been left behind on her carpet from the rental machine and carpet cleaning solution she used.  the homeowner was surprised at the amount of residual soap that was in her carpeting.  After extracting this residue, we continued to clean her carpet with water heated to approximately 200 degrees during use (heated to 240 degrees before use) and extremely high pressure.  The result: beautiful clean carpet for the family gathering.
