We had a call from a customer in Westmont who had two older dogs that had several accidents in her living room. She had tried to remove the stains with various household stain removers, but the stain persisted and she could not get rid of the odor.

In some cases, depending on the carpet or rug fiber, pet urine can permanently discolor fibers. For this customer, however, the stains were just difficult ones to remove. It is common for pet stains to create persistent odors, as well. The urine salt permeates the carpet backing and can even soak through to the padding underneath. It takes commercial equipment and chemicals to rid the surface of the stain, as well as the odor.

After we pre-treated the stains and cleaned the carpet, not only was the carpet bright again, but the odor was removed, as well.

In addition to the stain and odor removal, the heat that is generated in our process kills dust mites and helps minimize dust irritants.
